The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lafayette Central Catholic was tipped by Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN), 55-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers (Greenfield, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley contest, on Friday, December 20. Calhoun will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 57-42 non-league loss to Southwestern (Piasa, IL).
