The Chassell Panthers basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Hancock Bulldogs to 26 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Wright for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Chassell will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Hancock falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Calumet (Calumet, MI) to confront the Copper Kings in a Western Peninsula game on Thursday, December 19. The Copper Kings go into the game with a record of 2-2. Calumet lost 74-49 in their recent league game against Houghton (Houghton, MI)
