The War Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAA Region 5 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Tucker prevailed over Lithonia (Lithonia, GA), 74-59, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 48-47 league loss to Buford (Buford, GA).
