The Cincinnatus Central Lions basketball squad (Cincinnatus, NY), lost 54-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY)

With the victory, Cortland advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Purple Tigers host Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY) to meet the Lakers in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Lakers enter the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Lions now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeRuyter for a Section 3 Central Counties battle on Thursday, December 19. Cincinnatus Central will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Brookfield Central (Brookfield, NY). The Rockets record now stands at 4-0.
