The Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Friends' Central to 54 in the Friars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Friars now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Shipley for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Malvern Prep will confront a team coming off a 72-45 league loss to Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Friends' Central falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The travel to Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) to confront the Churchmen in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Churchmen go into the game with a record of 4-2. Episcopal Academy lost 72-59 in their recent non-league game against George School (Newtown, PA)
