Texas High School Basketball - Valley View can't hold off Howe

Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), 34-30 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Howe advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX) to face the Cardinals in a 3A Region II District 11 match on Friday, December 20. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 10-5. Pottsboro won 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Wimberley (Wimberley, TX)

The Eagles now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 match on Friday, December 20. Valley View will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 40-23 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.
