Mississippi High School Basketball - Kosciusko knocks off West Lowndes

December 17, 2024: Kosciusko, MS 39090

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Kosciusko Whippets basketball team scored a good 61-44 win over the West Lowndes Panthers.

The Whippets (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Leflore County defeated Shaw (Shaw, MS), 42-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Ethel Tigers (Ethel, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. West Lowndes will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 1-12 record after their 55-33 league loss to Velma Jackson (Camden, MS).
