Washington High School Basketball - Meridian fells Squalicum

The Meridian Trojans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Squalicum Storm to 45 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Friday, December 20. Meridian will confront a Borderites team coming off a 79-47 league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Squalicum falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to confront the Cougars in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Saturday, December 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-1. Lakewood won 77-27 in their recent non-league game against La Conner (LaConner, WA)
