The Merrill Bluejays basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Shawano Community Hawks to 53 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the loss, Shawano Community falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Green Bay West (Green Bay, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a Bay game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-1. Green Bay West won 72-69 in their recent league game against New London (New London, WI)
