Illinois High School Basketball - Staunton triumphant over Pawnee

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) and the visiting Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL), observed Staunton's basketball team overwhelm Pawnee by a score of 54-20.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Vandals go into the South Central bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Vandalia was ripped by Auburn (Auburn, IL), 76-57, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Pawnee falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Edinburg (Edinburg, IL) to play the Wildcats in a MSM bout on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Edinburg won 79-54 in their recent non-league bout against Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL)
