The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sequoyah School Gryphons (Pasadena, CA) and the host Westmark Lions (Encino, CA), observed Sequoyah School's basketball team overwhelm Westmark by a score of 57-18.

The Gryphons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Waverly (Pasadena, CA). The Ravens come into the International challenge with a 0-8 record.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Beacon Hill Gryphon (Camarillo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Westmark will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Gryphon come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 58-49 league loss to Pilgrim (Los Angeles, CA).
