The Shaler Area Titans basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Shady Side Academy Bulldogs to 54 in the Titans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Plum for a WPIAL 5A 2 game on Friday, December 20. Shaler Area will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 47-41 league win over Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Shady Side Academy falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA) to confront the Gladiators in a WPIAL 3A 3 game on Friday, December 20. The Gladiators go into the game with a record of 6-1. South Allegheny won 81-53 in their recent non-league game against Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA)
