The Smith Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pershing County for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2.

With the loss, Sierra Lutheran falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A Northern match on Friday, December 20. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-6. Pershing County won 60-20 in their recent league match against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
