The Spencer Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Denison-Schleswig for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, South Central Calhoun falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to confront the E'Hawks in a Twin Lakes game on Friday, December 20. The E'Hawks go into the game with a record of 3-3. Emmetsburg won 61-53 in their recent league game against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA)
