Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell crushes Anclote

December 17, 2024: New Port Richey, FL 34655

The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), 62-23 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Largo for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Mitchell will play a Packers team coming off a 69-38 non-league win over Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Packers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Anclote falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Sharks host Dunedin (Dunedin, FL) to play the Falcons in a 4A District 9 bout on Thursday, December 19. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Dunedin lost 42-31 in their recent non-league bout against Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL)
