The Urchins (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Myrtle was routed by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 56-21, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Saltillo will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Troopers come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 53-36 non-league win over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).
