In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored a big 42-19 triumph over the Sterling Heights Stallions.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, South Lake smashed West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 54-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Stallions confront the Eastpointe Shamrocks (Eastpointe, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Sterling Heights will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Shamrocks go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 50-39 league loss to Mott (Warren, MI).
