The Fowlerville Gladiators basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Ionia Bulldogs to 49 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gladiators now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Haslett for a Capital Area - Red game on Thursday, December 19. Fowlerville will confront a Vikings team coming off a 43-32 non-league win over Leslie (Leslie, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Ionia falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Olivet (Olivet, MI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-4. Olivet lost 54-38 in their recent non-league game against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI)
