In Tuesday's league contest, the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs basketball team scored a big 54-33 triumph over the Grand View Christian Thunder.
The Mustangs (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Cubs go into the Heart of Iowa contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Nevada smashed Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 72-14, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Thunder battle the Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Grand View Christian will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 54-37 non-league loss to Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA).
