In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Justice Wolves basketball team scored a close 52-45 win over the Herndon Hornets.
The Wolves (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors come into the District 3 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon edged Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 65-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a District 2 contest, on Friday, December 20. Herndon will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Saxons come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 63-21 non-league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA).
