In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Holdingford Huskers basketball team scored a big 66-17 triumph over the Pierz Pioneers.

The Huskers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa was trounced by Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 74-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN) in a AA Section 7 battle, on Thursday, December 19. Pierz will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 64-28 non-league loss to Braham (Braham, MN).
