In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Anthony's Friars basketball team scored a good 55-44 triumph over the Massapequa Chiefs.
The Friars (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Gaels go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Kennedy Catholic topped Maria Regina (Hartsdale, NY), 52-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Academy Charter (Hempstead, NY) in a Section 8 AAA contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Massapequa will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 39-20 league loss to Uniondale (Uniondale, NY).
