The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) and the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), observed Smith Valley's basketball team knock off Sierra Lutheran by a score of 26-12.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents come into the 1A West challenge with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a 2A Northern challenge, on Friday, December 20. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 48-45 league win over Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV).
