In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Washington Prexies basketball team scored a big 51-14 triumph over the South Allegheny Gladiators.
The Prexies (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Raiders go into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Waynesburg Central was trounced by Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA), 38-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. South Allegheny will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Centurions go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 79-16 non-league win over East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA).
