Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Morro Bay moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a test on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a non-league test on Friday, December 20. Santa Ynez will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
