Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Marshall nudges Brainerd

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Marshall Hilltoppers ice hockey team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Brainerd Warriors.
The Hilltoppers (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Providence Academy edged Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN), 9-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) in a Central Lakes contest, on Wednesday, January 1. Brainerd will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
