With the victory, Anderson advances its record to 1-0 on the year.

The Marauders now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a match on Friday, December 20. Mt. Vernon will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 34-23 non-league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-0.
