In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats basketball team scored a close 55-50 win over the Portland Highlanders.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Portland will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
