Florida High School Soccer - Mitchell knocks off Cypress Creek

The Mitchell Mustangs soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Mitchell will play a Falcons squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Cypress Creek moves to 3-6 on the year. The Coyotes host Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A - Region R2 - District D7 bout on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Zephyrhills lost 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Fe Catholic (Lakeland, FL)
