With the victory, ALA - Mesa North advances its record to 2-10 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, January 5. The Golden Eagles enter the battle with a record of 7-3.

The Prospectors now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coolidge for a 3A Central battle on Tuesday, January 6.
