The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) and the host Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), observed Connersville's basketball team overwhelm Winchester Community by a score of 55-32.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Dearborn (Aurora, IN). The Knights come into the Eastern Indiana challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, South Dearborn walloped Jennings County (North Vernon, IN), 66-56, in a non-league battle.

The Golden Falcons now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union County for a Tri-Eastern battle on Friday, December 19. Winchester Community will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 66-43 league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.
