The River Rouge Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Detroit Community Hurricanes to 44 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robichaud for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. River Rouge will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-45 league win over Redford Union (Redford, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

The Hurricanes (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI). The Navigators enter the Charter contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Henry Ford Academy triumphed over American International Academy (Inkster, MI), 86-74, in a non-league contest.
