Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newton Eagles (Newton, IL), 49-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Neoga upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Monticello (Monticello, IL) to play the Sages in a non-league bout on Monday, December 27. The Sages go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Monticello won 46-38 in their recent non-league bout against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 3. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
