In Saturday's non-league match, the host Southeast Pirates basketball team scored a good 38-28 triumph over the Newton Falls Tigers.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Mogadore Wildcats (Mogadore, OH) in a Portage Trail match, on Wednesday, December 22. Southeast will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 45-41 non-league win over Crestwood (Mantua, OH).
