The Sabine Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Alto Yellowjackets to 31 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quitman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Sabine will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-14.

The Yellowjackets (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Hornets enter the 2A Region III District 22 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, New Summerfield was routed by Cayuga (Cayuga, TX), 46-31, in a non-league contest.
