The Sheridan Generals basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Amanda-Clearcreek Aces to 24 in the Generals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Generals now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host River View for a Muskingum Valley contest on Tuesday, December 19. Sheridan will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 81-33 league loss to Maysville (Zanesville, OH). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-3.

The Aces (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Lions enter the Mid-State - Buckeye contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Liberty Union triumphed over East (Columbus, OH), 69-61, in a non-league contest.
