Texas High School Basketball - Aspermont nudges Guthrie

In Monday's non-league outing, the Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX), by a margin of 52-47.

The Hornets (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Hermleigh held off Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX), 68-29, in a non-league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Memphis for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Guthrie will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 60-41 non-league win over Hartley (Hartley, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 7-6.
