The Azusa Aztecs basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Garey Vikings to 32 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Monday.
The Aztecs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Azusa will battle a Rams team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-7.
The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Red Devils come into the Miramonte contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Pomona was defeated by Western Christian (Upland, CA), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
