The West Platte Bluejays basketball team (Weston, MO), was nudged 45-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO)
The Eagles now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carthage for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 20. Bishop LeBlond will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-33 non-league loss to Sparta (Sparta, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
The Bluejays (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kingsville (Kingsville, MO). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Kingsville edged Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO), 57-46, in a non-league battle.
