Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), 53-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Burlington-Edison upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to play the Trojans in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Storm play the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Squalicum will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
