Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Tama Red Hawks (Traer, IA), 79-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waterloo Christian upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Regents travel to Riceville (Riceville, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Riceville lost 61-59 in their recent non-league bout against Crestwood (Cresco, IA)

Next up, the Red Hawks play the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. North Tama will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 59-44 league win over Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA).
