In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Childress Bobcats basketball team scored a tight 44-41 triumph over the Hirschi Huskies.
In their next game, the Bobcats meet the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 match, on Thursday, December 21. Childress will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 51-43 league loss to Liberty (Lubbock, TX).
