Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Collinwood Trojans (Collinwood, TN), 70-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rogers upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Wayne County won 65-41 in their recent non-league bout against Culleoka (Culleoka, TN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Collinwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
