The Jaguars now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marlin for a 2A Region III District 18 battle on Saturday, December 30. Hubbard will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

The Trojans (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Milford (Milford, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region IV District 26 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Milford was overwhelmed by Coolidge (Coolidge, TX), 52-46, in a league battle.
