Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA), 64-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Loudoun Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Woodgrove won 65-44 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Leesburg, VA)

Next up, the Knights play the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. John Champe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 66-55 league loss to Patriot (Nokesville, VA).
