Texas High School Basketball - Odem knocked off by John Paul II

The John Paul II Centurions basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Odem Owls to 46 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Centurions now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Gertrudis Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. John Paul II will battle a Lions team coming off a 87-43 non-league loss to Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-5.
The Owls (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufer (Riviera, TX). The Seahawks enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Kaufer was defeated by Ben Bolt (Ben Bolt, TX), 57-51, in a league contest.
