The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Star City lost 59-49 in their recent non-league challenge against McGehee (McGehee, AR)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Bradley Bears (Bradley, AR) in a 1A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
