Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL), 51-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way West upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Plainfield East won 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)

Next up, the Titans play the Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 23. Tinley Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Richwoods (Peoria, IL).
