Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 78-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loyalsock Township upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lancers host Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Jersey Shore lost 64-26 in their recent non-league bout against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA)

Next up, the Indians play the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Shamokin Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 77-59 non-league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA).
