The West Sioux Falcons basketball team (Hawarden, IA), was overwhelmed 54-31 in Monday's non-league battle with the host River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA)

The Wolverines now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. River Valley will battle a Warriors team coming off a 71-52 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.

The Falcons (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners come into the War Eagle battle with a 4-2 record.
